The excursion to Balgandharva Rangmandir for the Shivkalin Sangraha exhibition was a triumph. Our students acquired invaluable knowledge and insight into Maharashtra’s vibrant history and cultural legacy. The engaging and interactive exhibition provided a distinctive learning experience, fostering cultural awareness and appreciation among our students.
SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The visit to the Meteorological Department, was a resounding success. Students gained valuable knowledge and insight into the field of meteorology, and the experts provided them with a unique learning experience. The visit was a great way to commemorate Science Day and inspire students to pursue careers in science and technology.

Marathi Language Pride Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and pride at Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School. The program began auspiciously with the sound of Tal-Mridunga and the atmosphere was bathed in Marathi colors. The students sang the melodies of Marathi culture through a powerful performance of Bharud and Powadi. Through that versatile artistic expression, one could experience the fragrance of the soil of Maharashtra.The program was moderated by Ms. Anurag Farande in a very effective and fluent style, which left the entire auditorium spellbound. My dream is in Marathi, my identity is in Marathi… Language is not just a means of communication, it is the soul of our culture! Jai Jijau, Jai Shivaji, Jai Marathi!

On Shiv Jayanti, our Honorary Secretary Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati and Yashraje Chhatrapati paid a heartfelt tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at his statue. The celebration included impressive fort models made by students and a large 30×40-foot rangoli of Shivaji Maharaj, honoring his legacy and bravery. The event was also attended by the management committee members, office bearers, and heads of various institutes and schools.

Our school students visited Fergusson College for books exhibition on 18th and 20th December 2024. The book exhibition at Fergusson College was a resounding success. It provided a valuable platform for book lovers to discover new titles, interact with authors, and enrich their personal libraries. The event contributed positively to the promotion of reading and literary culture within the college and the wider community.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm today! Honoring the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on their Jayantis at Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding of their portraits, followed by inspiring speeches from the Principal, teachers, and students. A heartfelt bhajan performance of ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram’ by the 5th std boys and a special screening of Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography brought alive their timeless messages of truth and simplicity.

Exploring the wonders of science and maths at Muktangan Exploratory Science Centre, Maths Laboratory with our brilliant 8th and 9th std boys from Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School. Witnessing the magic of electronics and conducting innovative experiments, this educational visit has expanded our knowledge and inspired us to delve deeper into the world of research.

The hobbies at our school aims at developing interest in photography, music, band, commercial art , aeromodelling and ship modelling. Each hobby has its own instructor and the students can utilize their leisure time to develop hobby.
